The contest
I had placed a contest for a new icon and only one person had entered, how is a vote or contest fair with one contestant? Should I cancel it? No one seems interested...
-PLEASE READ- New group icon
Members of Photography-Pictures, we will be now holding a contest (sort of). It will be like a vote. Here I shall explain the stages:
Stage 1: [Mar 28 - Mar 30] In the comments you may each post a link to a picture in this group, of course, that you'd like to see as an icon.
Stage 2: [Mar 31 - Apr 2] I will post a new journal entry, featuring every single picture which was posted in the previous entry's comments and with this we will place a vote. Voting will be done in the comments.
Stage 3: [Apr 3 - Apr 5] With the most commonly voted pictures featured, another entry will be posted, thus we will vote further.

Hello, guys! How you doin?
Personally, I believe it's time to change the group icon. This icon has been the same since I first made the group and I'm not such of fan of having my old "artwork" as the group icon.
I think we need something new, maybe one of our artists/photographers pictures, perhaps? With, of course, some writing.
I'm thinking of holding a contest but, if I'm to organize one, I'd like to be sure that people do actually enter and we don't have, say, three people entering and nothing happens. Also, what sounds better; a contest or a vote for something already in our gallery?

First I'd like to say "hi" as the somewhat new admin of the group. I am the one who began this group and now I am back, sorry for the inconvenience.
Next, for any of you out there who like best taking nature pictures and don't have much of a love for human and animal photography, this is your group; #CapturingEyes (https://www.deviantart.com/capturingeyes)
It's brand new, has no tagline, and no icon. I will probably hold a contest for that, I just need to sort some things out first.
